SUMMARY:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will partner with Managing Directors and Vice Presidents to implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for our sales and recruiting positions nationwide. This role will utilize a data driven approach to determine and implement a consistent recruiting and retention strategy along with analyzing the recruiting and performance activity of the team in order to ensure a best in class recruiting team. The person in this role will also be expected to engage senior leadership in strategy discussions to plan and anticipate hiring needs and continually assess the talent hired across the enterprise. Will also lead the SigRecruit internal recruiting team including coaching, on-going training and development and establishing team goals and objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize a data driven approach to develop, execute and monitor the recruiting strategy (sourcing, interviewing, selection, feedback) for Signature’s recruiting and sales organization.

  • Partner with senior branch leadership (Managing Directors and Regional Managers) to determine organizational needs and identify the appropriate talent strategy to meet their needs.

  • Lead and develop team of talent acquisition and university recruiting specialist including process development, coaching, continuous training and development. 

  • Create, monitor, and drive core recruiting metrics associated with candidate placement such as time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, diversity, quality of sources etc.

  • Develop a consistent communication method to discuss on-going recruiting metrics with field partners to assess success and identify gaps for continuous improvement.

  • Research and implement innovative strategies for pipelining, interviewing, and selecting new hire employees including utilizing consistent interview strategies (i.e., behavioral interviewing, Caliper testing, consistent feedback sessions etc.).

  • Partner with Marketing to oversee and implement a talent acquisition marketing strategy.

  • Provides industry benchmarks and key performance indicators and metrics related to Talent Acquisition.

  • Act as a coach and expert facilitator of the selection and interview process.

  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts and resources to help identify and source qualified candidates.

  • Develop recruiting strategies to attract the passive entry level recruiting candidates with sales experience/aptitude via social media, referrals, networking, user groups and the internet.

  • Develop and maintain campus recruiting partnerships in order to creatively source passive candidates within the Collegiate Sales program.

  • Develop campus recruiting initiatives, monitor the success of events and ensure the DISYS and Signature brands and culture is exhibited in every interaction with school partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in a talent acquisition leadership role including some experience in a corporate recruiting function. Previous staffing experience is a plus.

  • Ability to lead, manage and coach a team, holding others and self accountable.

  • Ability to build and strengthen relationships at all levels within an organization.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, coaching and listening skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence others and embrace/impact change.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Proven ability to think creatively, generating new ideas.

  • Excellent project planning skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task, lead a team and work autonomously under tight timelines.

  • Proficient in computer skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proven experience in serving as a strong cultural ambassador.

  • Flexibility in work hours and travel (may travel up to 25%).
